ORANGE, Connecticut, July 10, 2025— Artemis Shooting Sports & Training Academy held an official ribbon cutting today. Located at 543-545 Boston Post Road, Orange, the grand opening was held in partnership with the Amity Chamber of Commerce and featured a facility tour that was topped off with a pizza party.
Dan Paris, General Manager of Artemis Shooting Sports & Training Academy, and his wife, Katie, were joined by Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber of Commerce, along with family members, customers, students, and staff.

The Academy’s name, Artemis, was inspired by the mythological Greek Goddess of the hunt, wilderness, and protector of the innocent, which the academy notes is their guiding spirit for “Safety, Security, and Compliance,” thereby reflecting the Academy’s alignment with the ideals of preparedness, sportsmanship, and responsibility.
