ORANGE, CONNECTICUT, May 14, 2025— Speeders Car Wash, 79 Boston Post Road, Orange, held its official grand opening today, complete with a ribbon cutting, new memberships, and free car washes.
Speeders’ Orange Regional Manager Julio Candiotti, General Manager Robert Meekins, and Manager David Council were joined by team members throughout Connecticut. Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber of Commerce, and Chamber Board of Directors’ Secretary, Mary-Ann White of Coldwell Banker Realty, also took part in the celebration.
Speeder’s acquired Sponge Brothers on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, and immediately closed the location to significantly upgrade the property and transform the facility. The new car wash features 2 pay lanes, a 125′ wash tunnel with state-of-the-art equipment, and 13 vacuum spaces. Operating hours are Monday – Saturday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Sunday, 8:00 – 6:00 pm.
