Amity Chamber Business Symposium and Expo, July 30th
Orange, Connecticut, July 2, 2025— The Amity Chamber of Commerce Business Symposium & Expo will be presenting a business panel discussion, “Business Conditions During Uncertain Economic Times,” on July 30th at Yale West Campus, 100 West Campus Drive, Orange, beginning at 3:30 pm.
Moderated by Jorge Santiago, President and CEO of The Milford Bank, professionals from various sectors of the financial industry will share their insights on what businesses should be reviewing during these uncertain economic times. From the stock and bond markets to lending, banking services, and investing in your business for the future, the panel promises to engage, educate, and be thought-provoking for businesses of all sizes. - Mark P. Dupont, Partner, President – Coastal Bridge Advisors: As President of Coastal Bridge Advisors, Dupont is a pivotal member of the executive leadership team and a driving force behind the firm’s overall strategy. Dupont brings over 20 years of experience working closely with wealth management advisors and leading the firm’s operational initiatives to ensure that the firm’s priorities and solutions continuously support both clients and colleagues.
- Louis Silva, President & CEO – Community Investment Corporation (CIC) is a Connecticut based non-profit economic development lender with a mission to help grow existing businesses and encourage new business start-ups in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Silva has been with CIC since 2018 and prior to joining the firm, he spent 14 years working in several capacities within the retail, operations, and commercial banking sectors.
In addition to his role with CIC, Silva serves as a legislative committee member for the National Association of Development Companies (NADCO) and advocates on behalf of small businesses in our region.
Kevin Coughlin, Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer – The Milford Bank: With almost two decades in the banking industry with a focus on commercial banking, Coughlin has become a trusted advisor to his clients while helping them find customized cash management solutions tailored to their specific business needs. Kevin is experienced in loan structure and risk management and has handled multi-million dollar credit facility applications, communicating directly with underwriting teams to get deals to closing.
The Amity Chamber Business Symposium and Expo runs from 3:30 pm- 7:00 pm, with the Symposium being held from 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm, directly followed by the Expo that will run until 7:00 pm. The Honorable Ned Lamont, Governor of the State of Connecticut, will deliver the keynote address. Both the symposium and the expo are free and open to the public.
